Get Your Vote On: Voting Safely in North Carolina
September 7, 2020

Are you a North Carolina voter? The steps for voting can often be confusing, so we’ve compiled some dates, deadlines, and tips to make it easier for voters in NC to vote Trump out!

We want Trump OUT and we believe that all eligible voters who have the ability to vote should have their voice heard. But because of the administration’s voter supression tactics, confusing systems and discriminatory laws, this is not always the case -- and it often affects those who are more vulnerable: like workers who struggle taking time off to vote, Black, Indigenous, and Latinx citizens who face discrimination at the polls, and low-income folks who don’t have access to accurate voting information and transportation.

Voting is supposed to be a right for all citizens but more often throughout U.S. history, it has been treated as a privilege. Trump knows that his corrupt presidency is on the line. That’s why he and his crew will do everything they can to make it harder for our gente to vote.

So it’s up to us to make sure that our gente has what they need to get registered, make a plan to vote, and safely cast their ballot by November 3.

Trump is a threat to many diverse communities in NC -- pero juntxs, we can get him out.
